Overview and Philosophy
Franklin Classical School offers a wide variety of sports for all of our students as well as home school students registered under the FCS Umbrella program. Athletes are required to have a complete physical before they are allowed to practice or play in sporting events and they must maintain a least a 2.5 academic GPA.
At Franklin Classical School, our goal is to represent Christ in all things, uphold the FCS
Honor Code and enable FCS student athletes to put into practice on the field the character being developed at home and in the classroom. In order to clarify, strengthen and provide a cohesive athletic program for our students, these policies and guidelines have been set forth by the FCS Board of Directors. The intent of these policies and guidelines is to ensure the understanding of the expectations and standards anticipated from students, coaches and administration. The complete Athletic Policy and Guidelines is available upon request from our Athletic Director, Seth Witherington.
