Testing

FCSUP administers the Stanford Achievement Test for students in the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9th grades.  The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)  has adopted the “Stanford Achievement Test” series as their norm for testing.  While this is the Christian Edition, there are no Bible knowledge questions. There may be references to Bible characters or stories in the test content. 

FCSUP does require testing for umbrella program students. Test results will go into your student’s permanent school records.  The program will only allow access to records if another school/program you have enrolled in requests them.  ASCI does not keep copies of your student’s test results.  FCSUP will send you a copy of your student’s test scores when we receive them. 

Unfortunately, these tests are not designed for students with special needs, while we would not refuse your special needs student participation, we strongly recommend you seek a source designed for your student’s abilities. Middle Tennessee Home Education Association (MTHEA) should be able to help you find a source for this.
