Blair Blair
Blair and her husband, Brandon, have been an active part of the FCS community for many years. They have four children and are committed to supporting the mission of FCS to provide a valuable comprehensive, classical education based on the Word of God extolling the truth, beauty, and goodness of the gospel.
Josh Hurt
Josh and his wife Erin have three girls at FCS. Josh graduated from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics & Transportation. After serving as Vice President on Landlord and Tenant representation at Avison Young, Josh joined the Nashville Team of Highwoods Properties, Inc. as Director of Leasing. He felt a strong desire to give back to the school and voluntarily serves as FCS’s Building Committee Chairman. His leadership and assembly of team members for the planning and acquisition of our new building has proven invaluable. He is honored to continue serving the FCS community as a board of trustee, to help shape and secure the future plans for FCS.
Nick Jones
Nick and his wife Heather have three children and have been part of the FCS community since 2012.
Daniel Kendrick
Daniel and his wife, Elizabeth, have four daughters at FCS and are grateful to be part of the community. As both a parent and alumnus, Daniel has a deep appreciation for the school’s mission and is invested in its continued growth and long-term vision. Professionally, Daniel is a general contractor focused on high-quality custom homes and renovations. In addition to his work in construction and project management, he is an accomplished musician and has been actively involved in FCS’s Fine Arts program, including serving as instrumental director for school productions. He also contributes to facilities, campus, and alumni development initiatives. Daniel is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees and support the continued flourishing of FCS.
Nic Lane
Nic and his wife, Kayce, are proud parents of two children at FCS: Lucy, a member of the class of 2031, and Joey, in the class of 2033. Originally from South Carolina, the Lane family has lived in Shanghai, China, and Bethesda, Maryland, before settling in Franklin. Their search for biblical truth in education led them to the Classical model, and they are grateful to be a part of the FCS community. Professionally, Nic brings a wealth of experience in global leadership roles within Human Resources. He currently oversees the HR function for a manufacturing company based in Franklin. Nic is excited to contribute to the continued growth and success of Franklin Classical School.
Peter Strayer
Peter and Diana Strayer have been happily married for 24 years and have proudly supported their two daughters, Sydney (class of 2022) and Siena (class of 2024), through their 10-year journey at FCS. Pete serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for Azure Standard, one of America’s largest and most renowned distributors of healthy foods and products.
Ginny Young
Ginny and her husband Bryan have been a part of Franklin Classical School since 2018. They have 2 children, Anna and Davis. They are incredibly grateful for an education that is not just about preparing students for a career, but about preparing them for a life of purpose, compassion, and service to others, all while pointing them toward the ultimate source of wisdom and life: Jesus Christ.
