At Franklin Classical School, we deeply value the generosity of families and friends who choose to invest in the future of our students. One meaningful way to support our mission is through gifts of stocks or securities. These gifts not only strengthen our programs and expand opportunities for students, but they may also provide significant tax advantages to you as the donor. 

In addition, major donors are warmly invited to engage in a personal conversation with Amanda, our Director of Development, who can help ensure that larger gifts are directed to specific areas of interest most meaningful to you, such as building renovations, expansions of our fine arts programs, enhancements to the teachers’ lounge, or scholarships for students in need. We are moving into the early stages of architectural planning and renderings for the third‑floor renovations. With so many meaningful opportunities before us, we would love to walk the campus with you so you can see the progress firsthand. Come dream with us about what’s possible—libraries, chapels, classrooms, and dedicated spaces for music and the fine arts. This is a remarkable moment to make a lasting impact on our campus!

Seek the advice of your Financial Advisor.  If your stock is currently held in a brokerage or bank trust account, the simplest method of giving is to authorize your broker or banker to transfer the shares electronically into Franklin Classical School’s designated account.

To initiate this process, please contact Amanda Priefer, Director of Development, at apriefer@franklinclassical.com. She will securely provide the Federal Tax ID#, account details, and DTC information.  If you prefer to call and leave a message for Amanda directly, contact the main Franklin Classical number: 615-528-3777.

Once your transfer instructions have been given, we kindly ask that you email our Director of Development, Amanda Priefer – apriefer@franklinclassical.com - so we may properly acknowledge your gift, including these details:

• The name of the stock and the number of shares transferred
• Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number
• The intended purpose of your gift (e.g., scholarship fund, general support)
• The date of the transfer
